Saldo connects your bank accounts to AI assistants, on a strictly read-only basis: account-information consents only, no capability to initiate payments or move funds. Saldo securely syncs your accounts so any assistant can answer, on any device — your data is encrypted and never sold or used to train AI (how it works, privacy policy).
Saldo is not a bank and does not provide financial, investment, or tax advice. What an AI assistant says about your finances is the assistant's output, not ours.
The hosted service is a monthly subscription (pricing) starting with a 14-day free trial that converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel first. Subscriptions are sold and billed by Polar as merchant of record under Polar's terms. Cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Your mandatory rights under Swedish and EU consumer law are unaffected.
Self-hosting the open-source connector with your own provider credentials is free and not covered by these terms.
Connect only accounts you are entitled to access. Don't misuse the service: no circumventing subscription checks, no probing or disrupting it, no unlawful use.
Bank access is granted by your consent and revocable at any time — at your bank, or by unlinking a bank in Saldo. On the hosted service your financial data is stored encrypted and used only to answer your questions (see the privacy policy); if you self-host, everything stays on your own machine. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for the AI assistants you connect.
Saldo depends on your bank and the open-banking provider, whose availability and data we don't control. The service is provided as is; verify balances and transactions with your bank before making decisions that depend on them. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before a claim arose — without limiting rights that cannot be excluded, including your consumer rights.
You can stop at any time: cancel your subscription, revoke bank consents, and erase your data from your account. We may suspend service for material breach of these terms. If we materially change these terms, we'll announce it before the change takes effect; continued use means acceptance.
Swedish law governs these terms; disputes go to Swedish courts.
